In recent months I’ve been asked by a fair number of people if I would be able to put on a LinkedIn Training Course and I have done with decent success. We have done them in Glasgow, Edinburgh and across a few other places in Scotland and I’m likely to continue doing these LinkedIn Training courses as there has been a large demand for them.
In both August and September, we are likely to hold at least one LinkedIn Training courses in Glasgow and another in Edinburgh. We are more than happy to consider doing more but essentially it will come down to how much interest there is in the training course that we provide.
Many business owners seem to make a common mistake where they set up a LinkedIn profile and add a few connections and think that all this business will just automatically drop on their lap. When the business doesn’t drop on their lap automatically they say LinkedIn isn’t worth it, it’s no good for business, all of the usual chat that you get from people who expect far too much from something with very little time and effort put into making it work.
Most people in life want things for free, they expect things to happen easily. In my experience this doesn’t happen and LinkedIn is no different. You will get people saying you should connect with people, post interesting content, engage in group conversations and all of that stuff. This really does work if you do it properly and do put the required time into doing this.
That said, who really wants to be sat on LinkedIn all day trying to drum up business, you would soon loose the will to live looking at some of the faces and some of the nonsense that is posted on there on a daily basis. There are always ways to automate processes and still tick all of the right boxes on LinkedIn so that your LinkedIn profile gets views and interaction while you are on Holiday or doing some real graft.
The training courses we provide are not to tell you how great LinkedIn is, how much leads I’ve got from it or to give you the usual stuff about how you must post engaging content. It is there to show you the shortcuts, the automation, how to manipulate the system so that you are seen by the right type of people who are looking for your product or service.
The course normally lasts about an hour and a half, with 30 minutes left for questions and discussion. There are not too many people who are advising on how to actually make LinkedIn work and how you can generate leads, exposure or whatever you are trying to achieve on LinkedIn.
So if you are interested in LinkedIn Training Courses in Glasgow, Edinburgh or any other location then please do get in touch to book a seat at our next course.
